Timeless Golf, Beautifully Played

Quaker Hill's stunning hilltop setting was chosen by founder Lowell Thomas in the late 1930s for its sweeping views and natural beauty. He enlisted renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. to design a course that would challenge skilled golfers while remaining enjoyable for players of all abilities.

Since opening in 1940, the course has welcomed generations of members and guests, including legends such as Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Today, Quaker Hill remains true to its roots: exceptional golf in a relaxed setting, where great rounds are measured as much by the company you keep as the score you shoot.

Golf as It Was Meant to Be

Today, Quaker Hill remains largely unchanged from Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s original vision. Stretching more than 6,000 yards, the par-70 course rewards thoughtful play with rolling fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and small, undulating greens that challenge even experienced golfers.

With multiple tee boxes and no tee times, the course is equally suited to competitive rounds and leisurely afternoons—offering a golf experience that is as welcoming as it is memorable.

QHCC has been named one of the top 25 9-Hole courses in America by Golf Digest.

Course Maintenance

Superintendent, Andrew Carroll, employs a comprehensive approach to ensure the course is in top condition for the entire season.

And for those die-hards, pins are kept in for the whole of the year.
